At Grove Veterinary Group, our doors are open for help and advice in New Mills every weekday between 8.30am and 7.30pm, and up to 4.30pm on Saturday. In Buxton we can see your pet up to 6.00pm on weekdays, and midday on Saturday. We also have appointments between 2.00 and 3.00pm in New Mills on Sunday for those more urgent cases that won't wait until Monday morning.

However, your pets can't help it if they are poorly or injured outside these times, so, at Grove, all our patients requiring emergency treatment are seen by our own vets at our RCVS Accredited Practice in New Mills. We have vets and nurses available for emergencies every day and every night of the year. Also, if your pet needs to be hospitalised for treatment, a nurse is available to treat and check on him or her as required, even through the night if necessary.

This means that if your pet is seriously ill or injured, help is only a short drive away at Grove Veterinary Centre in New Mills.

Of course, providing this comprehensive service is costly, so we have to charge an additional fee for patients treated by the vet out of hours, and for pets needing nursing care throughout the night, but this is one of the many reasons why we at Grove strongly recommend insurance, so that we can give your pet the very best prompt and effective treatment.
